Neuletiheys
10 x 10 cm = 16 silmukkaa ja 24 krs sileää neuletta

Vinkki: Neulo mallitilkku ja viimeistele se, kuten valmis neule tullaan viimeistelemään. Mikäli saat liikaa silmukoita per 10 cm, vaihda paksumpiin puikkoihin. Jos saat liian vähän silmukoita per 10 cm, vaihda ohuempiin puikkoihin.

Tarvitset
– Silmukkamerkkejä sekä kanavaneulan. Virkkuukoukku voi olla avuksi silmukoiden poimimisessa.
– Eri väristä lankaa noin pari metriä apulangan virkaa toimittamaan

Työohje
Työ neulotaan ylhäältä alas. Ensin neulotaan olat omina kappaleinaan. Molemman olan reunoista poimitaan silmukat takakappaleeseen sekä etukappaleisiin, jotka neulotaan tasona kädenteihin asti, minkä jälkeen työ neulotaan suljettuna neuleena helmaan asti.

Kädenteiltä poimitaan silmukat hihoja varten ja hihat neulotaan suljettuna neuleena ylhäältä alas. Pääntieltä poimitaan silmukat kaksinkertaista reunusta varten.

The sizes are not standard. Please refer to the measurements provided to choose the right size. All measurements refer to the finished garment. The recommended positive ease is approximately 15–20 cm, depending on whether you prefer a looser or more fitted sweater. Measure your bust circumference and choose a size that is 15–20 cm larger than your actual bust measurement.

Gauge
16 stitches and 24 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch.

Tip: Knit a gauge swatch and finish it in the same way you intend to finish the completed garment. If you have too many stitches per 10 cm, switch to larger needles. If you have too few stitches per 10 cm, switch to smaller needles.

Needles
4 mm and 5 mm circular needles, 80 cm long (or size needed to obtain gauge).
If you do not use the Magic Loop technique, you will also need 40 cm circular needles and double-pointed needles in sizes 4 mm and 5 mm.

Other materials

• Stitch markers and a tapestry needle. A crochet hook may be helpful when picking up stitches.
• Approximately 2 metres of waste yarn in a contrasting colour to use as a stitch holder.

Construction
The sweater is knitted from the top down.
First, the shoulders are knitted separately. Stitches are then picked up along the edges of both shoulder pieces to form the back and front sections. These are worked flat down to the underarms, after which the body is joined and worked in the round down to the hem.
Stitches are picked up around the armholes for the sleeves, which are knitted in the round from the top down. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline to create a double-folded neckband.
