Uomaneule

Koot XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL, 6XL

Koot eivät ole standardeja. Tarkista sopiva koko annetuista mitoista. Mitat ovat valmiin työn mittoja. Jos mahdollista, vertaa ympärysmittaa sopivan kokoiseen neuleeseen.

Väljyysvaraa on noin 3-4 cm. Valitse siis koko, joka on noin 3-4 cm omaa rinnanympärystäsi isompi. Jos haluat väljemmän / tyköistuvamman neuleen, valitse koko sen mukaan.

Viimeistelykastelussa puolipatenttineuleeseen on helppo saada tarvittaessa väljyyttä / pituutta pari senttiä lisää.

Paita neulotaan kahdella langalla yhtä aikaa (lace ja fingering-vahvuisilla langoilla)

Voit halutessasi korvata langat yhdellä DK-vahvuisella (n. 220-280 m / 100 g) langalla.

Muista aina neuloa ensin mallitilkku ja laskea neuletiheys. Sovita puikkokoko niin, että tavoitat ohjeessa annetun neuletiheyden.

Neuletiheys

10×10 cm: 19 silmukkaa ja 42 krs puolipatenttineulosta

Huomioi, että kerroksia laskettaessa yksi näkyvä oikea silmukka lasketaan kahdeksi kerrokseksi puolipatenttineuleessa.

Vinkki: Neulo mallitilkku ja viimeistele se kuten valmis neule tullaan viimeistelemään.

Mikäli saat liikaa silmukoita per 10 cm, vaihda paksumpiin puikkoihin. Jos saat liian vähän silmukoita per 10 cm, vaihda ohuempiin puikkoihin.

Tarvitset

Silmukkamerkkejä, neulan sekä muutaman noin 40 cm pituisen paksumman langanpätkän silmukoiden pidikkeeksi. Virkkuukoukku voi olla avuksi silmukoiden poimimisessa.

Työohje

Alaosa neulotaan alhaalta ylös pyörönä kainaloihin asti, jonka jälkeen erotetaan etu- ja takakappaleet. Takakappale neulotaan erikseen ja etukappaleen molemmat puolet erikseen, jonka jälkeen olat ommellaan yhteen. Kainaloaukoista poimitaan silmukat neuloen puikoille ja hihat neulotaan pyörönä ylhäältä alas.

The sizes aren’t standard. Please check the measurements for the appropriate sweater size. The measurements are the measurements of the finished sweater. If possible, compare the measurements to a well fitting sweater.

The design is intended to be worn with approx. 3-4 cm of positive ease, so measure your bust circumference and choose a size that is approx. 3-4 cm bigger.

If you want a looser/tighter fit, choose the size accordingly.

With half brioche you can easily get a couple of extra centimeters to the width or length in blocking.

Yarn

The sweater is knit with two yarns held together (lace and fingering weight)

If you wish, you can substitute the yarns with a single strand of DK weight (approx. 220-280 m / 100 g) yarn.

Remember to always make a swatch and check gauge. Adjust needle size to obtain the gauge given in pattern.

Gauge

10×10 cm: 19 stitches and 42 rounds of half brioche

Note, that a single knit stitch on the right side is counted as two rows of half brioche.

Tip: Make a gauge swatch and finish it the same way you would the finished sweater.

If you’re getting too many sts per 10 cm, switch to a bigger needle size. If you’re getting too few sts per 10 cm, switch to a smaller needle.

Needle

Circular needle 3,5 mm (or as needed to obtain gauge) 80 and 40 cm

Double pointed needles 3,5 mm (or as needed to obtain gauge)

You will need

Stitch markers, tapestry needle and a few pieces of thicker yarn in a length of approx. 40 cm to hold stitches. A crochet hook may help with picking up stitches.

Instructions

Body is worked in the round from bottom up until the underarms where back and fronts are separated.

Back and the fronts are all knit flat separately and shoulders are seamed. Sleeve stitches are picked up and knit from the edges of the armhole and sleeves are knit in the round towards the wrist.
