Koot eivät ole standardeja. Tarkista sopiva koko annetuista mitoista. Mitat ovat valmiin neuletakin mittoja. Jos mahdollista, vertaa ympärysmittaa sopivan kokoiseen neuletakkiin. Väljyysvara on noin 14 cm. Valitse koko, jonka ympärysmitta on noin 14 cm omaa rinnanympärystäsi isompi. Tai jos haluat väljemmän / tyköistuvamman takin, valitse koko sen mukaan.

Neuletiheys

10×10 cm: 15 silmukkaa ja 39 krs patenttineuletta (19 näkyvää kerrosta oikean silmukan kohdalta laskettuna).

Puikot

Pyöröpuikko 3,5 ja 4,5 mm 80 cm (tai käsialan mukaan) isoimmat koot: puikon pituus 120/150 cm

Sukkapuikot 3,5 ja 4,5 mm (tai käsialan mukaan)

(Mikäli et käytä Magic loop- tekniikkaa, tarvitset myös pyöröpuikot 3,5 mm ja 4,5 mm 40 cm)

Vinkki: Mikäli saat liikaa silmukoita per 10 cm, vaihda paksumpiin puikkoihin. Jos saat liian vähän silmukoita per 10 cm, vaihda ohuempiin puikkoihin.

Tarvitset myös eriväristä lankaa neljä noin 40 cm pätkää, 4kpl nappeja, silmukkamerkkejä sekä neulan. Virkkuukoukusta saattaa olla apua silmukoita poimiessa.

Työohje

Työ neulotaan (resoria lukuun ottamatta) patenttineuleena alhaalta ylös tasona kainaloihin asti, jonka jälkeen erotetaan takakappale ja etukappaleet. Takakappale ja etukappaleet neulotaan erikseen tasona, jonka jälkeen olat päätellään kolmen puikon taktiikalla yhteen. Kädenteiltä poimitaan silmukat neuloen puikolle ja hihat neulotaan ylhäältä alas suljettuna neuleena. Lopuksi työn etureunasta poimitaan silmukat neuloen ja neulotaan onteloneulereunus napinlävillä.

The sizes aren’t standard. Please check the measures for the appropriate cardigan size. The measurements are the measurements of the finished cardigan. If possible, compare measurements to a well-fitting cardigan.

The design is intended to be worn with approx. 14 cm of positive ease, so measure your bust circumference and choose a size that is approx. 14 cm bigger. Or if you want more / less ease, choose the size accordingly.

Gauge

10×10 cm: 15 sts and 39 rows of brioche (19 visible knit stitches).

Needles

Circular needles 3,5 and 4,5 mm 80 cm (or as needed to obtain gauge) for bigger sizes: needle length 120/150 cm

Double pointed needles 3,5 and 4,5 mm (or as needed to obtain gauge)

(If you don’t use the Magic loop- technique, you will need to use circular needles 3,5 mm and 4,5 mm 40 cm)

Tip: If you’re getting too many sts per 10 cm, switch to a bigger needle size. If you’re getting too few sts per 10 cm, switch to a smaller needle.

You will need four different color scrap yarns in a length of approximately 40 cm per piece, a darning needle, stitch markers and 4 buttons. A crochet hook may help with picking up sts.

Instructions

Body is worked flat from bottom up in brioche (except for the ribbed edge) until the underarms where back and fronts are separated. Back and the fronts are all knit flat separately and shoulders are bound off using three needle bind off. Sleeve stitches are picked up from the edges of the armhole and sleeves are knit in the round towards the wrist. Stitches are picked from the front edge to work a double knitted buttonband.
