Koot eivät ole standardeja. Tarkistathan sopivan koon paidan mitoista. Mitat ovat valmiin paidan mittoja. Väljyysvaraa on noin 3–4 cm, joten mittaa oma rinnanympärys ja valitse koko, joka on noin 3–4 cm omaa rinnanympärystäsi isompi. Tai jos haluat väljemmän neuleen, valitse vielä isompi koko.

Vinkki: Mikäli saat liikaa silmukoita per 10 cm, vaihda paksumpiin puikkoihin. Jos saat liian vähän silmukoita per 10 cm, vaihda ohuempiin puikkoihin.

Tarvitset

– Pyöröpuikko 4,5 mm (tai käsialan mukaan) 80 ja 40 cm

– 2 kpl 5 mm sukkapuikkoa

– Silmukkamerkkejä sekä neulan. Virkkuukoukku voi olla avuksi silmukoiden poimimisessa.

Työohje

Silmukat luodaan i-cord- menetelmällä. Alaosa neulotaan alhaalta ylös pyörönä kainaloihin asti, jonka jälkeen erotetaan etu- ja takakappale. Takakappale neulotaan erikseen ja etukappaleen molemmat puolet erikseen, jonka jälkeen olat ommellaan yhteen. Kainaloaukoista poimitaan silmukat neuloen puikoille ja hihat neulotaan ylhäältä alas ja päätellään i-cord-menetelmällä. Mallissa on väljä v-aukkoinen pääntie.

The design is intended to be worn with approx. 3-4 cm of positive ease, so measure your bust circumference and choose a size that is approx. 3-4 cm bigger. Or if you want more ease, choose even bigger.

Yarn consumption

The entire sweater is knit with two strands held together

If you want to work with each strand running from its own ball, choose the next number divisible by 2, unless the number of balls already is divisible by 2.

Gauge 10×10 cm: 18 sts and 27 rounds in stockinette stitch

Tip: If you’re getting too many sts per 10 cm, switch to a bigger needle size. If you’re getting too few sts per 10 cm, switch to a smaller needle.

You will need

– Circular needle 4,5 mm (or as needed to obtain gauge) 80 and 40 cm

– 2 double pointed needles 5 mm

– Stitch markers and a tapestry needle. A crochet hook may help with picking up stitches.

Instructions

Stitches are cast on with an i-cord cast-on. Body is worked in the round from bottom up until the underarms where back and fronts are separated. Back and the fronts are all knit flat separately and shoulders are seamed. The design has a loose V-shaped neckline. Sleeve stitches are picked up and knit from the edges of the armhole and sleeves are knit in the round towards the wrist and bound off with an i-cord.
