4.5 mm circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge) in 40 and 80 cm lengths.<\/p>\n

A stitch marker, a tapestry needle, and a couple of strands of yarn approx. 40 cm long for holding stitches. A crochet hook may help when picking up stitches.<\/p>\n

Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n

The piece is knitted from top to bottom. First, cast on stitches for the turtleneck using an Italian tubular cast-on. The collar is knitted in the round. The back continues from the collar worked flat, while stitches are increased for the shoulders. Stitches are picked up along the back shoulder seam for each shoulder.
